I bought this piano book so I could play with my daughter at her recital. The songs are easy enough for her to play (although she doesn't think so!) and of course I can just play the hand that's a little tougher. There's a great mix of music... lots of recital choices to choose from. In fact, the hardest part is deciding which piece to choose! Only disappointment were the two 'Phantom of the Opera' songs when I could have done with one... And some of the songs (eg, 'Hello Dolly') were a bit old fashioned. Thankfully, I'm a big 'Sound of Music' fan so 'Edelweiss' was fine with me!

Students love duets, especially songs they know and like.

I chose this duet book for my more advanced students, and the result is a lot of smilesand extra practice to learn these wonderful pieces. They are fun to play, and the arrangementsare beautiful.

My students really enjoy the songs in this book. The transcriptions are level appropriate with the related lesson books and the harmonic combinations of the Secondo and Primo allow each player to sparkle, smile and even giggle with delight as well.

Alfred's is the slammin'est course book of all time...this duets book is no different. My daughter and I love playing out of it. Buy without reservation.
